Chuck, Larson and I set out on an one day 17-mile hike on the Fairy Falls Trail in Yellowstone National Park. We all were craving an adventure with a mental and physical push, and this certainly provided! We saw only 9 other people along this remote trail, and were able to get as close to the thermal features as we dared. But by far, the most dangerous decision of the journey was feeding the boys three bean salad for lunch. Lovely.
